The Australian Dollar (AUD) is maintaining its rebound from three-month lows against the US Dollar (USD) as the US Dollar Index eases from yearly highs. However, challenges persist due to weak domestic and Chinese economic data.
China, a key trading partner for Australia, posted mixed results in October, with Retail Sales growing 4.8% year-over-year (above expectations) while Industrial Production rose 5.3%, missing forecasts.
Domestically, Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) Governor Bullock reaffirmed that interest rates will remain steady until inflation shows clearer signs of improvement.
The market now awaits US Retail Sales data for further direction in the AUD/USD pair.
