With Instant Funding, traders can access leverage up to 1:100 and choose their account funding currency from USD, EUR, or GBP.

They must adhere to specific loss limits: a maximum daily loss of 3%, 4%, or 5%, and a maximum trailing loss of 6%, 8%, or 10%. The first payout can be monthly, bi-weekly, or on-demand after achieving the Trader Value Score. Subsequent withdrawals can also be made monthly, bi-weekly, or on-demand, depending on the account type. The profit split for traders ranges from 26% to 80%, based on the profitability of the funded account.
Instant Funding Scaling Plan
Instant Funding offers a scaling plan for traders who achieve consistent profitability. If a trader earns a 20% profit within a three-month period, they qualify for an account size increase of 25% of the original account size.
For example:
- After 3 Months: A $100,000 account achieving a 20% profit will grow to $125,000.
- After the Next 3 Months: A $125,000 account with a 20% profit will increase to $150,000.
- After the Following 3 Months: A $150,000 account earning a 20% profit will expand to $175,000.
The process continues in this manner.
Rules & Objectives
Maximum Daily Loss:
The maximum loss limit a trader is allowed to lose in a single trading day without breaching the account. All account sizes have a maximum daily loss of 3-5%.
Maximum Trailing Loss
The difference between the highest achieved account balance and the lowest point of the drawdown determines the maximum trailing loss a trader is allowed to lose without breaching the account. All account sizes have a maximum trailing loss of 6-10%.
No News Trading
Trading is not permitted during high-impact news releases. This implies that executing new trades or closing existing trades on the specified instrument is prohibited within the 2-minute period both before and after the announcement of particular news.
No Martingale
Traders are prohibited from employing any form of martingale strategy during their trading activities.
| Trading Objective | Objective Options |
| Maximum Daily & Maximum Loss Limits | 3% Max Daily & 6% Max, 4% Max Daily & 8% Max, 5% Max Daily & 10% Max |
| Profit Split | 26%, 40%, 60%, 80% |
| Type of Payout | Monthly, Bi-weekly, On-demand |
| Currency | USD, EUR, GBP |
Consistency Rule:
Mandates traders to maintain uniformity in various aspects such as position sizes, risk management, losses, gains, and more. This implies that the account results should not exhibit significant variations in their characteristics. The Trader Value Score is a measure of a trader’s consistency, which cannot be equal to or higher than each individual’s Max Trader Value Score.
It’s calculated as the total profit of your best trading day divided by the total PnL of your trading period. The Max Trader Value Score is different with each account type. It is also worth noting that a higher Trader Value Score doesn’t result in account closure. However, it is mandatory to be within the limit to be eligible to request a withdrawal.
The three rules you must follow to trade with an OFP Funding account are listed below:
- Rule #1: Your equity and balance must not be less than or equal to your daily maximum balance minus account margin. The account margin is 5% of the initial deposit observed each day beginning at 0 hrs GMT. For example, if your account size is $50,000, then a 5% margin amount would be $2,500, which would be your maximum daily loss in the account.
- Rule #2: You can only incur a maximum drawdown of 10% of the initial account balance. For example, if you are trading with a $10,000 account, the account balance cannot drop below $9,000.
- Rule #3: Known as the Trader Value Rule, this rule specifies that no single trading day can account for 25% or more of the total Profit and Loss accumulated from the purchase of the account or the last payout earned. If the account has a score equal to or above the 25% level, then the payout will be postponed until the next account review date and added to the next payout.
If you break Rule #1 or Rule #2, then your account will be subject to closure, although Rule #3 can be broken without the suspension of your account. While these rules may sound somewhat restrictive, they do tend to offer a good framework for novices and can also help keep seasoned proprietary traders disciplined.
Payout
OFP is a proprietary trading firm that was incorporated in February 2022. They have a large community of traders who have reached funded status and successfully qualify for a profit split. While working with OFP and reaching funded status with Instant Funding, you will be eligible to receive your first payout after 30 calendar days, 14 calendar days, or on an on-demand basis if you meet the Trader Value Score based on which funding program type you choose while purchasing the trading account.
However, after your first payout, you will be eligible to receive payouts if you exceed your initial account size every 30 calendar days, 14 calendar days, or on an on-demand basis. Your profit split will consist of a generous 26% up to 80% based on the profit that you have generated on your funded account. The profit split also depends on the percentage that you choose while purchasing your trading account.
Trading Instruments
OFP offers four different account types with a maximum leverage ratio of up to 100:1. All accounts are kept by OFP and controlled by demo accounts that permit a maximum daily drawdown of 5% with a total drawdown of 10% and a maximum trader value score of 25%.
Each of the four different account types can be opened with your choice of three major accounting currencies: USD, EUR and GBP. Every account type has different initial fee pricing and profit split details. Profits are disbursed from the accounts every 28 days, and all positions must be closed out to receive a payout, or any payout will be deferred.
Once you have purchased control of an OFP account you will gain access to an IC Markets MetaTrader 4 or 5 (MT4/5) demo account that you can also access on your mobile device and that you will use to control the OFP account. If you prefer to use a different trading platform from MT4 or MT5, you can trade through IC Markets’ web terminal accessed via its official website.
You can trade a wide range of assets once you purchase your OFP account, including:
- Forex: You can engage in forex trading in up to 61 currency pairs including major, minor and exotic pairs.
- Commodities: WTI and Brent crude oil, natural gas, cocoa, coffee, corn, cotton, orange juice, soybeans, sugar and wheat.

Platforms
OFP boasts a user-friendly website and access to the widely popular MetaTrader 4 and 5 (MT4/5) trading platforms. This combination contributes to a positive user experience, further reflected in their impressive 4.3-star rating on Trustpilot (though the rapid accumulation of reviews in a short timeframe warrants some skepticism).
However, there are limitations to consider.
- Limited Platform Choice: While OFP offers MT4/5, a strong point, they prohibit the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) and copy trading external accounts – functionalities heavily relied upon by many traders. This significantly restricts automation and strategy sharing.
- Mixed Customer Service: The OFP Dashboard provides valuable account information but lacks comprehensive customer service support, diminishing their overall user experience.
Trading Platforms: Here’s a clarification:
- OFP partners with Thunder Markets as their broker, offering a separate user experience with features like advanced security and analytical tools.
- However, for trading within the OFP program itself, you’ll have access to cTrader, TradeLocker, or Match-Trader, not MT4/5.
Recommendation: Before purchasing an OFP account, thoroughly research the trading restrictions and platform limitations to ensure they align with your trading preferences.

Conclusion
OFP is a new prop firm that offers a quick and easy way for traders to get funded. Unlike other prop firms, OFP doesn’t require traders to pass challenges or meet profit targets. This makes it easier for traders to get started and focus on trading. OFP has recently introduced accounts with 60% and 80% profit split terms, which is more competitive with other prop firms. This change has made OFP a more attractive option for traders.
OFP has received mostly positive reviews online, and it supports the popular MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. However, OFP doesn’t allow the use of automated trading software or copy trading external accounts. If you’re a beginner trader or an underfunded trader with a profitable manual trading strategy, OFP might be a good option for you. It’s a relatively new firm, but it has a lot of potential.
